makingThis project explores "stuffiness," a sensation of discomfort that has greatly impacted my life. By experimenting, researching the history of ventilation devices, and being inspired by Heath Robinson's whimsical machine illustrations, I began to think of new ways to move air. This led to the creation of a wearable apparatus that turns ventilation into an interactive and rhythmic experience. It therefore deals with physical discomfort and emotional stagnation in order to underline the importance of movement and renewal that fresh air can cause in our being.
